M-Bone, member of West Coast trio Cali Swag District, was unexpectedly murdered in a drive-by shooting last night. According to fellow group member Smoove, the 22-year-old, whose real name is Montae Talbert, died from gunshot wounds in their native Inglewood, California.
“Ma life changed drastically in the. Blink of an eye rip mbone,” tweeted Smoove.
TMZ.com reports that the incident was a random act of violence. M-Bone was outside of a liquor store at 11:32 P.M. last night when the gunman drove by and fired shots at the rapper. Police don't suspect that the shooting was premeditated.
Before there was a cali swag district there was a party promoter/entertainment group called Money Tall Ent. Me and M-Bone was apart of. He would always talk about how he pulled more females than me...and who was the flyest person from M.T.E ! Party Missions and good Memories is all i have for the homie Montae. Even After Becoming famous from the song "Teach Me How To Dougie" he never acted hollywood or changed up. I remember when he first got his twitter he was like get me some followers...i was like you Famous n*gga Get me some followers lol he was just a all around cool person. You will truely missed bro.
